Denim Days

Living Easy Style Personal StyleBack in my old stomping ground of Queen St West. It’s definitely one of my favourite streets in Toronto for whiling away a Saturday. Dotted with independent boutiques, quirky restaurants, cool little coffee spots and not forgetting the leafy green Trinity Bellwoods Park. On this particular Saturday the park was hosting a vintage market. We spent a fine hour or two browsing clothing racks, bargain bins and lot’s of unique industrial furniture finds. Continue reading

Cable Knit & Cobblestones

LivingEasyFirstly apologies, the above photo look’s like how I’m feeling tonight – a little blurry! I blame an overzealous Saturday night for my blurry head and the cold weather for a rushed job on the snaps. That and the fact that our quiet little back street was all of a sudden bustling full of tourists once the camera starting clicking. I guess it’s to be expected, choosing a location beside Ireland’s most famous brewery. Home of the black stuff – Guinness HQ. The price you pay having Dublin’s gorgeous cobbled streets as your back drop. Continue reading

Camo on the Curragh Plains

LivingEasy Bag – Bershka // Jacket , Camo Pants, Knit – Zara // Sneakers – TopShop

There’s nothing like changing season’s to add an element of danger to dressing. Not quite winter and not quite spring. Everyday is an Irish day – you never know what you’re going to get! So layering is not only stylish but very essential. These shots were taken on a rare spring like day. Dressed in layers of quilted leather, denim, camo and knit, I was pretty cosy playing tourist at home and taking in some trails at The Curragh. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram for lot’s more snaps and adventures as #livingeasydiscoversireland.

Checking out Spanish Sights

Plaid and DenimTank Urban Outfitters // shorts Free People // shirt & sunglasses Stradivarius //                 hi-tops – TopShop // bag – vintage Coach // watch Michael Kors

It feels a bit strange looking back at these photos soaked in Spanish sunshine whilst I’m sitting on a wet and wild Halloween night cosy on the couch. I’m guessing this will be the last shorts and bare leg post for quite a while – it’s time for winter hibernation! These shots were taken on a day exploring the gorgeous old town of Cartagena, if anyone is visiting the Roman theatre is a must see.

For me an outfit is all about a great base and then adding simple details to make a statement, like my check shirt tied around my waist. I bought it in Stradivarius recently and it’s been on high rotation ever since. I’ve been mixing it up, wearing it buttoned up with skinny jeans and heels, open with a plain t-shirt and of course tied around my waist like in these shots here. What pieces are your favourites to mix and match?

When my sister asked me to be a model for her final hair colour exam, I jumped at the chance! Helping a sister out and getting a free “Do” is pretty much the best good deed I can think of. My instructions for the day she presented her work was to wear black – no hard task for me. Continue reading
