White & Metallic

White & MetallicMy white out love continues and here are just a few pieces I have my eye on for summer.

Tip; The addition of accessories in metallic tones creates balance and is a good option for anyone feeling hesitant of the  full on white on white look!

Over & Out

When the sun is shinning, there really is no place better than Ireland. And today in between cloud cover, was one of those days! In true Irish fashion, I made the most of every ray of sun,  dressed in a festival vibe exploring the gorgeous countryside. It’s funny how style evolves having previously swore I would never wear overalls. I shiftly ditched such promises as soon as I clapped eyes on these Only denim overalls at our #OpshFashTag photo shoot. Luckily as part of our prize, we were given the choice of one outfit to take home. Needless to say the overalls, in all their distressed denim goodness found a new home with me. I guess my lesson learned, is when it comes to fashion never say never!

I’d love to hear any of your fashion change of hearts? Feel free to share in the comments.x

H&M Conscious Collection Spring 2014 Lookbook

If online reports are anything to go by, the latest H&M Conscious Collection is set to be the best one yet! And since taking a gander at the look-book, I’m in no doubt as to why. Taking inspiration from the world of Flamenco, drama is brought to the collection with detailed embroidery, embellishments and tailoring. All of which is beautifully balanced with a  boho vibe and a colour palette of nudes and whites. Continue reading

Look Lust – White Out

whiteoutAllwhite.1White out – crisp, clean, light and bright, there’s a reason white on white is sneaking it’s way in to top my favourite combo of black on black. Perfect for spring/summer, with the added benefit that it goes with pretty much everything! At the top of my list are these cropped white denim, a muscle jersey tee, a loose fit shirt, boyfriend blazer and all finished off with a pair of classic chucks. Check out more blogger inspo snaps and my white shop the look after the jump – Enjoy!  Continue reading

                Boots – Nicholas Kirkwood x Erdem // Knit-Asos // Aviators-Ray-Ban                              Bag & Boyfriend Jeans – Zara (similar)

Finally coatless! Even if it’s for one day only and I’m snug in a high neck knit. I’m still marking a big fat X on the calendar. Dust down the deck chairs and grab your factor 30 – summer is on the horizon! Over ambitious? Absolutely and I’m making no apologies. The weather this past couple of months has me contemplating some type of Ark investment! So trust me, each dry, bright day counts. And the rescue of my boyfriend jeans and sunglasses from the depths of wardrobe oblivion is one step closer to summer sun.

Not forgetting my Nicholas Kirkwoord x Erdem ankle boots on this long list of firsts. My very last purchase before I left Toronto, bought in the height of summer from The Room. I remember struggling with the fact that I was already well over weight in the luggage department. But the overzellous sale tag won out and with some very determined packing the boots made it safely home.

THINK PINK – Fantastic news #nomakeupselfie has raised over €1 million for the Irish Cancer Society. Well done to all the gals and guys who took part. I posted mine on my Facebook page. To take part post a bare faced selfie with the hashtag #nomakeupselfie. In Ireland Text PINK to 50300 to donate €4

Every Day is a Winding Road

Living Easy Loving FreeSkirt – Alice & Olivia // Hat, Boots, Coat – Zara // Knit – All Saints
Sunday brunch and I ditched my black skinny jeans in favour of my Yellow Alice and Olivia mini skirt – can you tell I’m excited for Spring’s arrival! Whilst the temperature still calls for layers and tights, wearing a skirt somehow feels one step closer to, dare I say it….Summer!
Since I’ve moved back home most Sundays are spent outdoors exploring Ireland. These photos were taken in the gorgeous Co. Wicklow. If you look closely, you can see the snow covered mountains in the background. After we took these shots and I changed outfits, we went for a hike and it was well worth the effort! The view of the Wicklow Gap on the way up is simply stunning, every where you look is picture perfect. And the real treat was when we reached the snow covered summit. It was like we had traveled to a whole other country, in fact it reminded me of Canada but at much more friendly temperature! You can catch more photos on Instagram and follow the tag #livingeasydiscoversireland to keep up with all my adventures.
