The past few weeks I’ve been in a Mexico state of mind. My Instagram feed is one culprit for my current wanderlust. Scroll by scroll, it’s been one beautiful Mexican beach after another. Perfect little squares of white sandy beaches with warm turquoise water. Some accompanied with a token fruity cocktail, others with glamorous sunglasses and straw hats. None lack the best accessory of them all – glorious summer sunshine! The fact that Toronto has been sprinkled with snow and then glazed with -24 temperatures, certainly is the main driving force! So we are going to take advantage of Canada’s close proximity and head south! Riviera Mayan / Tulum to be a little more specific. While relaxation is top of the list (with token cocktail in hand!), myself and my hubby do like to explore the sights. The ruins, centoes and snorkelling with turtles are on the top of my list. So if anyone has been and can pass on some tips, I’d love to hear! Continue reading
New Years Eve already! I guess it’s true what they say – time certainly flies when you’re having fun. For me this year has been so busy that I haven’t had much time to reflect. So before we dive in to another brand spanking New Year, I wanted to take a quick look back at my year that was 2014. Continue reading
It feels a little strange looking through photos from my sunny trip to Spain’s Murcia Region. As I’m sitting in a cosy winter knit, on a crisp Toronto winter day. But somehow with my move I forgot to post my photo diary, and as the saying goes it’s better late than never. Continue reading
Finally I’m back on the blog after an unplanned hiatus. The reason being myself and my husband have made the big move back to Toronto – who knew moving country would be so time consuming?? (tongue firmly in cheek!).
The last year at home in Ireland has been an absolute blast. Catching up with family and friends, not forgetting all the road trips. When we left Canada last year we had a mission to visit some of Ireland’s towns and sites that we hadn’t yet visited. The Giant’s Causeway and Croagh Patrick being two of the highlights. I’ve stacks of photos to share on the blog, so stay tuned!
These photos are the last outfit photos taken at home in Ireland. Busy with the move I didn’t get a chance to share. Back in basics, it’s fair to say a colour palette of greys and blacks are still a favourite of mine. I picked up the leather look skirt in Zara, the asymmetrical zip detailing was the clincher for me. Also I scored the AllSaints peep toe boots at Kildare Village – delighted with my last buy in Ireland (if you ever make the trip to Ireland, a stop at Kildare Village is a must for shopping!).

We have finally picked our honeymoon destination and Croatia it is! Neither of us have ever been and looking online I can’t understand why as it looks amazing, with so many places to go and see! We have 7-10 days and we are thinking of making the trip along the coast starting at Dubrovnik, Korcula, Hvar to our final spot Split, and so I’d love to hear from anyone who has been please let me know your recommendations…what’s not to be missed along the way? Any restaurants or hotels/guesthouses that made your trip I want to hear it all…Thanks folks
